Our guide will share with you his knowledge of the Balinese culture.

Batubulan: Great show with a sample of dances and legends in Bali in an open-air theatre.

Denpasar: Visit of workshop and batik school (process of drawing with wax and soaking in different dying baths and the fabric, batik, has just been listed by Unesco and ikat: hand woven fabrics on traditional looms.
Celuk: Manufacturing of solid silver jewellery at Pande’s workshops. You will admire the works finely embossed, Bali specialty.

Day 1: Your tour in Bali depends on your arrival time.

Before 1.00 PM

Lunch: grilled fish at Jimbaran beach then drive to surfing spots with a nice view of the sea and its big waves very appreciated by surfers.

Your guide will drive you to Uluwatu temple, right on a cliff. They say that a Javanese priest who built the temple could go to heaven <moksa> because he was so good that he did not need to be reincarnated…

Overnight at your hotel or villa in Jimbaran or Sanur.

Bali is a small Island of 5.500 km2, 140 kms East-West and 80 kms North-South.

Its population is 3.500.000 people.

The Balinese have strong spiritual roots and they keep their culture very much alive. They are Hindu Dharma, originally from India and blended with Buddhism, Javanese and ancient animist beliefs.

It is believed that the first settlers on Bali migrated from China around 2.500 B.C. but before there was already an evolved culture like the complex irrigation system and rice production still in use today was established around that time.

After 1.00 PM
The guide will drop you at your hotel or villa in Jimbaran or Sanur to have a rest and we begin the tour the next morning.

Day 1:
Travel to Munduk, nice village nestled in the clove fields and coffee plantations.
Visit Tanah Lot temple on the sea with a beautiful view from the gardens overhanging the sea, often rough there. Continuation of the tour until Munduk.

Day 2:
Trekking around Tamblingan Lake in the coffee, clove trees and the luxurious forest. You will take a pirogue to go on the lake, you will admire the sunrise. A local guide will be with you. (additional expenses).
